Students Explore Australia Pty Ltd is on a mission to connect young people with nature, as a means of improving their wellbeing. We predominantly achieve this through delivering school camps for primary and high schools across Australia, and also work with universities, accommodation providers and other groups.

Students Explore Australia falls between the tourism and education industries, and operates alongside our sister brand – Aussie Journeys.

Role Description:

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing the school camps and/or study tours that have been allocated to you. This means leading a team of Administrators pre-program and leading a team of Program Facilitators during the program. Our school camp programs are located mainly in South Australia and Victoria, while our Study Tour programs are located in many cities across Australia. You can elect to coordinate school camps only, study tours only or both. The role can be summed up into 3 main components:

  •  Overseeing the coordination of each school camp or study tour program that you are assigned, using our proven step by step methodology.
  • Physically attending and leading school camp programs in locations across South Australia and interstate and/or leading study tour programs in major Australian cities such as Gold Coast, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.
  • Strong customer-focused service


The Ideal Candidate will be:

  • Physically fit and capable
  • Knowledgeable or passionate about adventure-based activities (bonuses for qualified instructors).
  • Highly organised, and have ability to build rapport quickly with our partner schools and teachers

  • Have a passion for the outdoors or positive wellbeing of young people


Essential Items
To be successful in the role you must have or be willing to get:

  • Working with Children’s Check
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Drivers Accreditation (South Australia)
  • Minimum Light Rigid License

The role is permanent fulltime, however for the right candidate we are flexible to accommodate 0.8 FTE hours, or work with you around specific work requirements you may have. Our office is located in Everard Park, South Australia 5035. 

Renumeration: Between $60k – $70K FTE depending on experience level, plus your own work phone and laptop provided to you.
