So much more than just surfing! You can expect to pat koalas and hand feed kangaroos, pick strawberries, taste local wines or cheeses and well as sneak in a waterfall hike at sunset!
Our first stop could be any one, or more of the following: strawberry picking, wine tasting or cheese tasting. All delicious options!
Our second stop is at the naturally beautiful Urimbirra Wildlife park. Here we see crocodiles, dingoes, koalas, snakes, kangaroos and a whole lot more! We eat lunch here among the free-roaming kangaroos – make sure you don’t let them bully you into handing over your lunch!
Next stop is our campsite! We setup everything and have an official ‘meet and greet’ before dinner. As sun sets, we explore the conservation park and go on a night walk adventure!
Big breakfast is served and we begin our day with a first stop to Victor Harbor and Granite Island. The coastline is amazing, and dolphins are common to be spotted! We have even seen stingrays, ocean turtles and seals before!
It’s time for our first 2 hour surfing lesson! You will have experienced instructors, wet-suits, sunscreen and surf boards, but you may not have so much balance! Good luck!
Depending on sunset time, we go for a waterfall hike before dinner or after dinner. Enjoy the mountains next to the oceans – it makes for a beautiful photo!
It’s our last day and we have our final camp pack up after a lazy breakfast. It’s then onwards for surf lesson number 2! By this time, some of you may be able to stand up on the surf boards and really let loose!
We have an opportunity for ball games or chill out in the park after our surfing lessons, before we head to the super scenic Horseshoe Bay! There are some stunning views of the beach and boulder-coastline.
What a roadtrip! We journey back home to Adelaide, where you can hopefully catch up on some sleep!
