Beyond The Classroom

Beyond The Classroom Beyond the Classroom has been in operation as an outdoor education provider for almost a decade. It was launched by Surf & Sun, a surf school based on the Fleurieu Peninsula. The founder, Luke Talbot-Male, saw the need for a school camp provider in South Australia that catered to the requirements of teachers. Beyond the Classroom helps teachers provide simple and organised school camp experience for their students. There are school teachers and program facilitators on the team that help with day-to-day activities. Day activities and camps are operated with a focus on safety and student participation. Programs are designed for a specific curriculum, with the content drawn upon a range of learning situations. They offer school camps for all year levels and abilities. Students in primary to senior school can experience progressive outdoor activities, which help them develop life skills and explore the world around them.
