In this role, you will undertake a number of varying duties. Predominantly, your role will be to assist the smooth delivery of the Aussie Journeys bus and equipment hire services and group wine tours. At times, you’ll also be required to assist our Director with administrative tasks to help the smooth operation of the business. 

 

Your main duties will include:

  • answering customer queries related to tours that we offer
  • assisting customers to book our buses (usually via the phone or online)
  • preparing and cleaning/packing away buses and hired equipment
  • directly assisting our Director with administrative tasks

The Ideal Candidate will be:

  • A person who wholeheartedly embodies our core values
  • Physically fit and a capable manual worker
  • Confident on the phone – to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Looking to gain work experience in tourism or administration

You don’t need to hold a completed qualification – however, studying tourism, event management or marketing will be highly regarded. If you have work or volunteer experience in any of these fields, that will also be a great bonus.

 

The role is casual, with between 2 – 3 days per week. You’ll be working together with your direct manager in an office space located in Everard Park 5035. There may be opportunities to work from home, however some aspects of the role require physical work at our warehouse.
