Surf and Sun Outdoor Experience
Surf & Sun is a licensed surf school operating beach adventure activities in South Australia. They specialise in surf camps, which offer surfing lessons, surf hire, and day tours at Moana, Robe, and Middleton coast lines.
Surf programs are also offered at Goolwa. The surf school offers group, private and childrens surf lessons by accredited surf coaches that teach students to surf in a safe way, through teaching surfing basics and how to ride the waves.
Surfing Activities and School Camps at Surf and Sun
Surf & Sun’s surfing lessons are 2 hours in duration. You will receive inclusions such as online resources about surfing, surfboard hire, rash vest, wetsuit, photo opportunities, and surf instruction.
They have a group package option, where you can bring a group with you or join an existing group for surfing. You can also purchase a multi-pack option, where you can book 2 – 5 group lessons to get some good practice in surfing. Surf groms is a package they offer for 5 – 12 year olds, allowing children to learn surf safety and techniques in structured progressive lessons. You can also book private lessons if you want a more personalised surf coaching experience.
Surf & Sun also offers surf lessons for families, with 2 adults and 2 children, for 2-hours.The private class includes surfboards, wetsuits, rash tops, and sunscreen. Another option is their squad package, which delivers advanced levels of coaching suitable for competition. If you prefer to take morning surf lessons and practice skills in the afternoon with a half day surf hire, they have an affordable surf hiire option.
Backpackers can enjoy a surf adventure day package which includes 2 surf lessons, surfing equipment, lunch and transportation. They also have a surf & stay deal option if you want to spend a weekend surfing on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
You can also experience a weekend surf camp in Yorke Peninsula. There is also a Robe Surf Camp allowing participants to improve their surfing skills. These camps are inclusive of surf lessons and transport. Other options include adventure camps on the Fleurieu Peninsula which include kayaking, mountain biking, surfing, raft building, and team challenges.
