We predominantly achieve this through delivering school camps for primary and high schools across Australia, and also work with universities, accommodation providers and other groups.

Role Description:

The successful candidate will travel with our team to different locations to assist with catering school camps and our all-abilities camps. You will work within a team to deliver a high quality of food service to our campers, including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and adhering to food hygiene and safety standards. You must be willing to travel to different camp locations and adapt to different kitchens and facilities. For the duration of the camps you will stay on-site, with accommodation and meals included, in addition to your daily rate.

Your Main Duties Include:

  • Preparing meals and cooking as outlined in the meal plan document

  • Engaging with our students at meal time, and providing them with simple, fun and healthy meals to brighten their day!

  • Adhering to food hygiene and safety standards

  • Serving meals to campers

  • Setting up and cleaning up your workstation

  • Helping to clean dishes

  • drive the company van and catering trailer

Role Requirements:

  • Must hold a current drivers license

  • Must hold a current working with children’s check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one

  • Must be willing to travel and be away from home for 3-5 days at a time

  • Ideally have experience in similar roles or hold current qualifications in cookery/kitchen operations

  • You will hold an advantage if you have an Light Rigid license (purely as part of our on-tour contingency plans – having a spare minibus driver)

Our Ideal Candidate Will Be:

  • A team-focused player with an optimistic, can-do attitude for life and for work

  • Passionate about cooking, with multiple years of experience as a chef

  • Organised and punctual

  • Able to follow instructions and food plans

  • A person who enjoys working with kids or students, and feels an urge to mix up their regular work routine

Renumeration: 
You will take home between $425 – $500 per day as a contractor with your own ABN (very easy and cheap to set up, and we can guide you in that, should you be successful).


We also include all accommodation and meals during your program (the catch is though – you’ll be the one making meals for the entire team!). You will also be eligible for our individual ‘player of the match’ bonuses on each program, and team bonuses for when you are part of a team that gets a ‘match win’ on programs.
